[For sale] It’s about that time again—ski season! And I’ve just discovered my jacket/trouser set no longer fits [looooool fu covid pounds (and hoagies these past few months)]. So I’m selling my Helly Hansen set. Barely worn, like new. Mostly used nibbling €100 truffle pizzas and quaffing Perrier-Jouët in snow polo VIP tents high in the Alps. So yeah. Real gently worn. (Originally about $600, DM me for more details and best price).

This has been my first autumn since 2007, and it has not disappointed. Living in Philly’s historic Old City neighborhood is really the best of both worlds: smack in the city but also surrounded by beautiful old buildings, cute independent shops and cafés, and plenty of green space and colorful trees, thanks to the Independence National Historic Park area. This is the walkable city living and history that I so missed in Dubai.

It’s been a whirlwind couple of months. For anyone who hasn’t been keeping up, after 13 years, 2 months and 28 days, I’ve ended my time as an expat in the UAE (12 years in Dubai, 1 year in Abu Dhabi) and moved back to the US—to my former home of Philadelphia, in fact. It was a wild and unforgettable ride in the UAE, one that I have absolutely zero regrets on, but this summer a switch in me flipped and I knew it was time to go. Leaving all of the amazing friends I’d made in Dubai and Abu Dhabi was heartbreaking, but the memories are insane and unforgettable, and I can’t wait to continue traveling to all corners of the world to reconnect with my global family over the years ahead.

Happy #internationalcatday to these absolute lazy but also buckwild legends.
